I’m going to let you in on a little secret, that will make you’re bank account smile.Almost every shopping website, has a link where you can “join” their mailing list. I know what you’re thinking, mailing list? My inbox already gets flooded with spam and junk mail everyday, I don’t need another thing to delete. I feel your frustration with the spam mail, except chances are what these stores will be sending you are cold hard discounts.
Not only does “joining” the site make checking-out a breeze (because it stores your information) but it also puts you on their listserv for new arrivals, sales and coupon discounts. If you haven’t picked up yet on what I am saying… they will send you 30% off, free shipping, etc., for no good reason at all! Just today I got 30% off an order at Bluefly, the reason? Because they “missed me”.
These vendors will send you coupons for no good reason as well as to tip you over the edge on purchasing something. So sign up and put it in your shopping cart, chances are within 24 hours they will have sent you little present to ensure your purchase.
So give your bank account a reason to smile! Sign up, really what’s another email a day, for 30% off a leather jacket?
