Hottest Nail Colors For Summer

I wouldn’t have believed it myself, if I hadn’t started to see it everywhere. Blue and orange nail polish are the two colors you have  to have this summer.

No this trend isn’t catering to Florida fans only, it is for everyone. The hues of blue really range the whole spectrum, where as the orange colors can on the lighter “shrimpy” side of things or become more spiced up as fall rolls around.

We have Rihanna to thank for kicking this trend into high gear. Her orange nails did more than stop the show at this year’s Grammy’s.

Summer With Warhol

Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Montauk

Bond No. 9 adds a new addition to their Andy Warhol series. Andy Warhol Montauk is a unisex blend of woods and citrus designed to capture the country feel of a beachside town.

Laurice Rahme, president and founder of Bond No. 9, tells WWD that the fragrance is “inspired by old woods and driftwood and the freshness of the sea.” The fragrance is in honor of Warhol’s beloved beach destination. Montauk, N.Y. Close to the Hamptons, Montauk is more rustic, before becoming a summer spot for the rich and famous, it was originally a fishing village.

The creators hope wearing the fragrance will allow you to channel the party attitude and laid-back atmosphere of Montauk. They want the fragrance to be a destination, allowing you to feel like you are on vacation.

The bottle is even an homage to Warhol, the design comes from his “Sunsets” series a collection of 632 sunsets in various colors. There is a purple sunset version and a yellow sunset version.

Montauk by Bond No. 9 ($220) will launch exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue this Memorial Day, right in time for summer.

Product Review: bareMinerals

Bare Escentuals, has been popping up everywhere lately. In May’s In-Style they were ranked as one of the best foundations. I use bareMinerals Matte mineral powder foundation almost everyday (or every time I put on makeup). It provides flawless, full face coverage without leaving you’re face feeling greasy or clogged.

An added benefit is that the power foundation is made with minerals (duh) it has a built in natural SPF of 15. Thus, applying this over a daily moisturizer that contains SPF only intensifies your sun protection!

Jennifer Aniston to Release Fragrance

Jennifer Aniston, is set to join the likes of  Halle Berry, Elizabeth Taylor, Beyonce, and Jennifer Lopez as stars with their own perfumes. Aniston however, plans to take a different approach. She told WWD last week that her perfume Lolavie will be a “nonperfume perfume.”

Aniston’s first scent which will be released this June to Harrods in London, and then throughout the rest of the U.K. in July, will hopefully hit the U.S. by fall. A 50 ml bottle will cost around 30 pounds, approximately $50.

Aniston described Lolavie to WWD as “sexy and clean.” She wanted it to smell natural, subdued. She even said she doesn’t wear strong scents anymore.

Because you’d be hard pressed to find someone more natural in Hollywood than Aniston, I’m sure this perfume won’t be the only sweet scent deal for her.
